Holyfreakinshirt!  It’s Monday! And what a week/weekend it was!

By definition, a “Straw Man,” is:
1. an intentionally misrepresented proposition that is set up because it is easier to defeat than an opponent’s real argument.
2. A person regarded as having no substance or integrity. “a photogenic straw man gets inserted into office, while advisers dictate policy”

When you take a look at the kinds of policies and executive orders that are being put into place, a clear and obvious conclusion comes about, as to who is REALLY behind each of them.

Let’s start with the fact that Donny is waaaaay beyond being photogenically attractive. But, give him a break…he’s damn near 80 years old! Of COURSE he looks like a grandpa trying his best to hang with the real “hep cats and groovy chicks!”  But, he is absolutely, undeniably, a master at getting attention. He is the PERFECT STRAW MAN!

However, along with his aging body, comes an aging, rotting brain, that on it’s best day produces word salad, on a wide variety of topics; most of which are completely useless as they pertain to governance and solutions to the problems facing our country and the free world.

He leaves that to his henchman. All of these guys have their own very specific agendas, and are more than happy to work BEHIND the scenes (mostly behind in Elon’s case), while Donny keeps the cameras, and the attention on stuff that just doesn’t really matter.

Let’s break down who does what, and how you can recognize the motivation behind their actions.

When there are literally hundreds of executive orders pouring out of the oval office, in between rounds of golf, visiting with foreign leaders, going to the Super Bowl, and posting myriad streams of tweets (are they still called tweets?) and diatribes on Truth Social, you have to know that there are loads of other people behind much, if not all, of what gets rammed through. It’s clear that his henchman and their minions were hard at work between election day and inauguration day. There are just So. Many. Freakin’. Orders.

Yes. He is acting like a King.  But, most of this is coming from his “court,” with the exception of the “Grandpa-Is-Pissed-Look-Out” sort of items that pop up in between the truly evil, bile-filled, harmful actions that are coming from other sources.

Let’s do a comparison…shall we?  See if you can figure out who is doing what.

1. The cyber-criminal takeover of the Federal Government.
This is an easy one. This is all MUSK, with a hint of Donny-revenge for good measure.  Yes, Donny is all about revenge, and going after anyone who actually wanted to hold him to the Rule of Law. But Elon is also cherry picking the Federal agencies who are going after his business activities.  So, call it what the Israelis call it; “Preemptive Defense” when they wipe out anyone that looks sideways at them, even without actually attacking them first.  Donny wants it done, but doesn’t remotely understand the first thing about tech, (even though I’m sure he’d say “no other President in history understands tech like I do.”  I’ll give him that. No other President in history has ever broken more “conflict of interest” laws with his own crap-tastic tech offerings. Coins, cards, and who knows what else? But make no mistake about it…Elon is the guy behind this Blitzkrieg of the Federal Government. He does not care about rules, laws, or who he hurts. He just likes to create chaos, break things, and then put himself at the presumptive advantage.  It’s hard to say if an egomaniacal, sociopathic narcissist like Donny can put up with someone else getting attention.  But, so far, Elon has been able to do most of his most destructive activities BEFORE the public, the government, or Donny has a chance to understand what he is doing. It’s a coup.  We’ll see who ends up in charge.

2. Mass Deportations
During Donny’s first reign, there was one guy behind almost all of Trump’s sadistic and feudalistic immigration tactics and laws; Stephen Miller. Miller is just a half click away from coming out of the closet as a full-blown White Supremist, in brown shirt and jackboots.  He hates almost every race, creed and religion, other than the whitest of the white.  He is also hell-bent on finishing what he THOUGHT he started during Donny’s first administration.  He will stop at nothing (including militarizing the effort with Federal troops) and Budget Be Damned! Forget that nobody with a basic calculator agrees that their deportation goals are remotely achievable, especially if they (the Republicans and DOGE)  are trying to reduce spending. It is estimated that reaching even half of the deportation goals during the next four years, will require upward of a $400 Billion dollars, even if they can get enough law enforcement personnel, jail facilities, and court time to pull it off.  Add to that, the cost of labor losses, increased goods, decimated farms, and more…and you can double that figure.  Nice job, you maniac! But, yes…Donny thinks it’s all great, because it feeds his MAGA-heads’ thirst for beating up on “the others.”

Go watch any documentary about police states, or Nazi Germany in 1933, and you’ll see weasel-faced, miscreants like Miller popping up all over the place.

3. The Centralizing of Power in the Federal Government (aka a dictatorship)
So. Did you take the time to read Project 2025?  Because if you did, you would be shaking your head at the recent appointment of Russel Vought, to lead the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Trust me on this…this is just the beginning of Project 2025 coming into fruition.  And remember, you were warned BEFORE the election.  Even though Donny lied about knowing about the authors, or what was in the vast document/book (What? Donny lied?), this is just the tip of the iceberg. “The plan” calls for centralizing power to the executive branch, and then executing all sorts of insane stuff, like eliminating the Dept. of Education, and re-instituting school prayer, and making abortion criminal again, and…
WAIT! These and countless others are in the works. Add to this, Project 2025’s own “Manchurian Candidate,” JD Vance, waiting in the wings as the next “dupe-worthy Straw Man,” and you have a plan that extends well into the next decade and beyond.

4. Getting rid of the Penny, Getting rid of Paper Straws, Taking over the Kennedy Center, Making fun of Tayor Swift at the Super Bowl, being disgusted with the new Kickoff Rule in the NFL..and on, and on, and on…

Like I said…Donny is A STRAW MAN. He is there to divert attention from the real bad guys! He is there to be the poster-child of annoying boors who never shut up, and are so brain-addled, that they convince themselves that their actions are making the world a better place.  He is doing stuff for show. He is doing stuff for the 1/3 of Americans who don’t think, or take the time to look beyond the next Instagram Post of “car crashes and pets doing mean things,” that they have just enough time to scream, “YEAH! HE’S LIKE ME!!”

I found great pleasure in knowing how uncomfortable Donny had to be during the Halftime show at the SuperBowl. He was there to hear the crowd cheer for him, not be scolded by one of the biggest HipHop artists in the world.

I took pleasure in knowing that he really was thinking, “I’d rather hear YMCA…but at least Taylor isn’t having a good time…and maybe I DIDN’T pick the Chiefs to win, and dammit…I wonder if the Eagles are going to stand me up again for a visit to the White House like they did in 2018?”

But actually…I just loved the fact that FOX…his number one FanBoy network, hardly covered his attendance at all. The way it should have been.

In the future, it’s going to become more and more obvious who is doing what. It will be easy, even without a scorecard. And we can only hope that somewhere, in the deepest parts of their hearts, the court system, in a modicum of “doing the right thing for the country,” can slow this madness down, as it becomes increasingly obvious that the “Straw Man” really doesn’t have much of a brain.
